 ehichles. They're everywhere in Northend. Even 25-man raid instances are not immune to this new and interesting aspect of WoW. New challenges like this only help to make the game more exciting and as a guild we were more than willing to step up to this challenge. I'm happy to announce the fall of Malygos to Deus Invictus on Sunday, January 11.

 eveling. Its all the rage with WoTLK out. But, somehow, some way, some people are just able to do it faster than others. Deus Invictus would like to congratulate Exar (aka "Sara") for his ability to level faster than any other guild member. Below is a quick interview with our resident Pally.
How long did it take you to get to level 80?
70-80 in 5 days lol. I was lucky enough to have four days worth of floating holiday time saved up that I really needed to burn. Thus giving me from Wed night at midnight through Monday to accomplish my task.
Did anyone help you in your leveling quest?
Luckily Slamolina and I both picked up Wrath and got it loaded up right about the same time. So we were able to start together and quest as a team for pretty much the entire time.
What helped you level so quickly?
We got a great boost to our xp by having 25 BC dailies done ahead of time and doing them all again as soon as they reset. The island was a ghost town.
Did you take any breaks?
The hours were long. We normally took four hour breaks to sleep but I cheated and went and worked on other zones we had not planned to do as a group during nap time.
So you tried to leave your leveling buddy behind...how did that work out?
[It] worked out well because on Saturday I resisted my alarm clock's taunt and slept for like nine hours. When I finally woke up Slam and our other leveling buddy, Ludix, were pretty much up to the same point I was at in my "solo zone". So we were able to pick right up and crush the rest of the quests.
What motivated you to keep leveling so fast?
When Monday rolled around I really didn't think I had it in me to get to 80 before I had to go back to work on Tuesday. Vae and Ask were neck and neck with me, so I figured if I wanted to be first I was going to have to go hardcore. (Ask [had] to work that day. *LOL* He would have beaten me otherwise.) So I kept chugging and at around 5 am I hit my target and finally got to sleep. For about two hours that is. [Then] I had to drag my ass into the work.

Special thanks go to Slamolina and our bud Ludix. I could have never gotten this done on my own. And to Ask and Vae for supplying me with a goal of beating them. Cool.
 rath of the Lich King is upon us and DI has hit it at full swing. Our first level 80 players should be emerging today or tomorrow, not bad for only being five days from release. Kudos to Blizzard for giving us not only great music and scenic countryside but the awesome vehicle system with which we can bomb and rescue to our hearts' content. Sign me up for the first multi-person flying mount. Sure, sure, I promise not to drop that scrub pug out over that bottomless ravine...
That'll teach me to drink random elixirs I find lying around in the sewers.
 llidan is DOWN!!! That's right! On the very last night before the 3.0 patch DI stepped up and took down the final boss in Black Temple. Thanks to everyone who worked their assess off and stayed to take him down.

 -ing Freaking A!!! Way to go DI! For whatever reason Kael seemed an insurmountable obstacle for our guild. After abandoning Tempest Keep due to frustration and lack of interest, we've finally come back to own Kael'thas. A great effort was put forth by all our raid members and it was a great raid. Good job everyone!

 rewfest is here at last and this year has brought some changes. If you were hoping to drink yourself silly and dance with the Pink Elekks I'm afraid you will be sadly disappointed. There will also be no more net throwing to catch your own Wolpertinger but at least they can still be obtained at the low, low price of 50 silver . But all is not lost! Inebriated celebrants can take a trip down to the Grim Guzzler and take on Coren Direbrew to earn such prizes as a Kodo or Ram Mount or even their own Bar Wench. Don't forget to grab your swords steins and defend those precious kegs outside Ironforge!
